The objective of this research is to develop a printing paste formula from natural rubber latex suitable for enhancing the slip resistance performance on sock products. The role of natural rubber is also examined in the printing paste formula. The findings indicate that natural rubber or latex in the printing paste improves adhesion and durability on the fabrics without affecting print thickness. As the proportion of natural rubber in the paste increases, the abrasion resistance on the fabric surface also increases, enhancing slip resistance to improve safety for wearers (friction coefficient > 0.5). The printing paste formula suitable for printing patterns from natural rubber latex consists of raw latex, water, and thickeners. The ratio of natural rubber latex to water is 70:30 (L70). Synthetic binder are unnecessary as natural rubber inherently enhances adhesion to the printing paste. However, thickeners are required to adjust the viscosity of the printing paste for effective printing. Fabrics printed with this latex-based printing paste can be air-dried and cured at room temperature, eliminating the need of high temperature drying typical for synthetic binder, thereby conserving energy in the printing process. Testing revealed that the fabrics printed with raw latex exhibited higher durability against washing compared to commercially printed fabrics, with the jersey and ribbed fabrics rated slightly lower in durability (4-5 out of 5) compared to interlock nylon fabrics (4/5-5 out of 5). This indicates excellent durability against washing for fabrics printed with raw latexbased paste, positioning them competitively in the market
