The objectives of this research are to measure the degree of ASEAN economic integration and analyze its impact on Thai exports during 2002-2020. In the first part of this research, the composite index is used to measure the degree of ASEAN economic integration. It consists of 3 dimensions: single market, economic homogeneity, and economic symmetry. The results showed that the degree of ASEAN economic integration is on a downward trend. Singapore has the highest degree of economic integration, while the Philippines has the lowest degree of economic integration. After an entry into the ASEAN Economic Community in 2015, the degree of ASEAN economic integration among members has become closer. The second part of this research studies the impact of the degree of ASEAN economic integration on Thai exports, dividing the exports structure into 4 categories: agricultural products, agro-industrial products, principle manufacturing products, and mining and fuel products. The results showed that the ASEAN economic integration index has no effect on all4 categories of Thai exports. This might be because Thailand has a low degree of ASEAN economic integration and therefore ASEAN economic integration might not significantly affect Thai exports to ASEAN. However, when separating the index into 3 dimensions, it is found that some dimensions have positive impacts on the Thai exports, depending on product categories.
