The clustering of questions affecting tourist's decision making for chatbot design
Abstract:
The purpose of this research was to analyze questions affecting tourists' decision-making for chatbot design. Data collection was carried out from 343 tourists interested in local tourism, using a 5-point Likert scale questionnaire. The Alpha-reliability coefficient was 0.930, and the validity was examined by five experts. The clustering of questions was analyzed by exploratory factor analysis (EFA), using principal component analysis (PCA). The results revealed that from 50 question lists, the items could be categorized into four clusters named ESAN: excellent service, standard facilities, accuracy of information, and noble culture. The researcher used the ESAN framework to propose guidelines for the structural design of questions for tourism chatbot development in future work
