Social Practice Education of Guangxi University of the Arts Students in Summer
Abstract:
This study aims to explore the development of social practice among college students at Guangxi University of the Arts, with a particular focus on their participation in summer social practice programs. The research investigates the current state of summer social practice education at the university, examining the motivations and attitudes driving students' involvement and the educational significance of these programs. The study also seeks to identify and analyze the challenges and obstacles faced in implementing effective social practice programs in higher education. A stratified sampling method was employed to select a representative sample, including 156 individuals from Guangxi University of the Artscomprising three teachers, three staff members, and 150 studentsout of a target population of 200 respondents. Data collection was conducted through a questionnaire survey, capturing various dimensions of participant experiences and perceptions related to social practice. The gathered data were analyzed using statistical methods, primarily focusing on percentage analysis and interpretive techniques to draw meaningful insights. Findings from this research are expected to provide a deeper understanding of the dynamics influencing student participation in social practice and offer insights into how educational institutions can better support these initiatives, ultimately fostering a culture of civic engagement and practical skill development among college students
