Abstract:
The objectives of this study were: 1) study the status of organizational commitment in educational institutions under the Office of the Secondary Education Area, Chiang Rai, and 2) compare the organizational commitment in educational institutions under the Office of the Secondary Education Area, Chiang Rai, classified by position and work experience. The sample group used in this research consisted of 20 school administrators and 306 teachers, totaling 326 people. The research instrument was a questionnaire. The statistics used in the research were mean, standard deviation, independent t-test, one-way variance test, F-test, and LSD paired test. The research findings revealed that: The study of the status of creating organizational engagement in educational institutions under the Office of the Secondary Education Area, Chiang Rai, overall, was at a high level. The highest mean was in the aspect of creating relationships with coworkers, with an average of 4.21, and the lowest mean was in the aspect of creating happiness at work, with an average of 4. 1 4. The results of the comparative study of the creation of organizational commitment in educational institutions under the Office of the Secondary Education Area, Chiang Rai, classified by position, found that the aspect of being an important part in driving the organization was significantly different at the 0.05 level, and other aspects were not different. Classified by work experience, it was found that the aspects with statistically significant differences at the 0.05 level were: receiving importance or appreciation from the organization, building relationships with coworkers, and building relationships with supervisors. Other than that, there were no differences.
