HUMAN RESOURCE DEVELOPMENT AND ORGANIZATIONAL CLIMATE INFLUENCING TEAMWORK: A CASE STUDY OF DEPARTMENT OF NATIONAL PARKS, WILDLIFE AND PLANT CONSERVATION
Abstract:
The objectives of this research were 1. to study human resource development, organizational climate, and teamwork 2. to compare mean of demographic factors with human resource development, organizational climate, and teamwork 3. to study relationship between teamwork and human resource development, and organizational climate and 4. to study factor affecting teamwork of the Department of National Parks, Wildlife, and Plant Conservation. Questionnaire was employed as the research instrument. The samples of this study were 344. Frequency, mean, percentage, standard deviation, t-Test, One-way ANOVA, Pearsons product moment coefficient, and stepwise regression analysis were employed to analyze the data. The findings are as followings; 1. The Department of National Parks, Wildlife, and Plant Conservation had moderate level of human resource development and organizational climate, and high level of teamwork. 2. Individuals who are different in age, type of employee, and department had experienced different human resource development. Individuals who are different in age, work experience, tenure, and department perceived different organizational climate. 3. Teamwork had moderate positive relationship with human resource development. It also has high positive relationship with organizational climate. 4. Total organizational climate human resource development in terms of teamwork, organizational climate in terms of responsibility, and commitment were factors affecting teamwork.
