Abstract:
This independent study aimed 1) to examine the effectiveness of a learning management plans using the halaqah combined with mind mapping based on the 80/80 standard criteria, 2) to compare the Quranic reading skills of students before and after learning process, and 3) to assess students satisfaction by using halaqah technique combined with mind mapping. The sample group included 23 students from class 4/2. The tools used in the research included: 1) a learning management plans on Nun Sakinah and Tanween, 2) a Quranic reading skills assessment and 3) satisfaction questionnaire towards the development of reading skills using halaqah
with mind maping. The statistics used in the research included percentage, mean, and standard deviation.
The results of the study were as follows:
1. the effectiveness of the learning management plans using the halaqah combined with mind mapping for primary school students, year 4 was 90.31/93.15 (E1/E2), exceeding the 80/80 standard criteria.
2. The Quran reading skills after learning were significantly higher than before learning at a statistical significance level of .05
3. Students satisfaction by using halaqah with mind mapping was at a high level (𝑥̅ = 4.33, S.D. = 0.38)
