The Development of Analytical Thinking Skills by Using the Brainstorming Learning Process on Al-Tarikh Subject Entitled Important Wars During the Prophets Era for Intermediate Islamic Studies Stage Students, Year 6
Abstract:
The purposes of this research were 1) to develop students analytical thinking skills using the brainstorming learning process, with a criterion of 70%. 2) to compare students learning achievements between before and after using the brainstorming learning process, and 3) to study the students satisfaction towards learning management by using brainstorming learning process. There were 31 of intermediate islamic studies stage students, year 6, selected by a cluster random sampling. The research tools consisted of 1) 5 Learning management by using brainstorming learning process 2) the achievement test 3) analytical thinking skills form and 4) the questionnaire of the students satisfaction towards the brainstorming learning process. Statistics used in analyzed by mean, percentage, standard deviation and pair simple t-Test.
The results showed that 1) the students analytical thinking skills after learning was at 76.32 percent. 2) the students learning achievement by using brainstorming learning process after learning was higher than before learning with statistical significance
at the 0.001 and 3) the students satisfaction towards learning management using brainstorming learning process on al-Tarikh subject was at high level (𝑥̅ = 4.39, S.D. = 0.22)
