Abstract:
This research aimed 1) to study the level of strategic leadership of Islamic
private school administrators under the Office of Private Education in Mueang Yala
District, Yala Province, and 2) to compare the level of strategic leadership of Islamic
private school administrators under the Office of Private Education in Mueang Yala
District, Yala Province, classified by gender, work experience, and school size. The
sample group for the study consisted of 274 teachers in Islamic private school under
the Office of Private Education in Mueang Yala District, Yala Province. The research
instrument used was a strategic leadership questionnaire by Dubrin (2004), with a
reliability coefficient of 0.96. The statistics used for data analysis included frequency,
percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-Test, and F-Test. When differences were
found, multiple comparisons were performed using Scheffes method.
The research findings revealed that:
1. The overall strategic leadership of Islamic private school administrators
under the Office of Private Education in Mueang Yala District, Yala Province was high.
2. The comparative results on the level of strategic leadership of Islamic
private school administrators under the Office of Private Education in Mueang Yala
District, Yala Province, according to the teachers opinions, classified by gender, work
experience, and school size, showed no overall difference. However, in terms of
gender, vision-setting aspect showed statistically significant difference at 0.05 level.
