The Effect of Learning Management by Using Active Learning with Think Pair Share Technique and PowerPoint Teaching Materials on Islamic Studies Subject for Primary School Students, Year 4
Abstract:
The purposes of this research were: 1) to develop and examine the efficiency of the management plans on Islamic studies subject using active learning with think pair share technique and PowerPoint teaching materials with criteria 80/80, 2) to compare students' achievement before and after learning on Islamic studies subject using active learning with think pair share technique and PowerPoint teaching materials, and 3) to examine level of students satisfaction by using active learning with think pair share technique and PowerPoint teaching materials. The targets of this research were 25 students of Ban Talomiyor School, Yingo district, Narathiwas province in the first semester of academic year 2024. The research instruments used were 1) eight lesson plans, 2) the students' achievement test before and after learning on Islamic studies subject, and 3) the students' satisfaction questionnaire. Statistics used were percentage, mean, standard deviation and the t-Test.
The results of this research were as follows
1. The efficiency of the learning management plans on Islamic studies subject using active learning with think pair share technique and PowerPoint teaching materials for primary school students, year 4 was 84.68/84.80 which was higher than the set criteria.
2. The learning achievement of students on Islamic studies subject by using active learning with think pair share technique and owerPoint teaching materials was higher than before learning with statistical significance level of 0.05
3. The students' satisfaction of learning by using active learning with think pair share technique and PowerPoint teaching materials on Islamic studies subject for primary school students, year 4 was at the high level.
