Development of blended leaming activities integrated with BOPPPS model to enhance Chinese reading comprehension of senior high school students in Chiang Mai province

Abstract: This study aimed 1) to develop and evaluate the efficiency of blended learning activities integrated with the BOPPPS model to promote Chinese reading comprehension of senior high school students, based on the 80/80 criterion. 2) to study the effectiveness of blended learning activities integrated with the BOPPPS model to promote Chinese reading comprehension of senior high school students. 3) to examine the students' satisfaction toward the blended learning activities integrated with the BOPPPS model to promote Chinese reading comprehension of senior high school students. A quasi-experimental design was employed in this study, with a sample of 26 senior high school students (Grade 10) enrolled in the Chinese language course at Sansaiwittayakom School in Chiang Mai, Thailand, selected through purposive sampling. The results showed 1) the developed blended learning activities integrated with the BOPPPS model consisted of 6 instructional plans over 12 periods, focusing on Chinese reading comprehension related to weather, with various activities including group competitions, online discussions, and role-play. The efficiency of these learning activities was 82.12/80.90. 2) the effectiveness index of Chinese reading comprehension for senior high school students taught through blended learning activities integrated with the BOPPPS model was 50.99. 3) senior high school students who learned through blended learning activities integrated with the BOPPPS model showed the highest level of satisfaction, with a mean score of 4.52.

Abstract: การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์ 1) เพื่อพัฒนาและหาประสิทธิภาพของกิจกรรมการเรียนรู้แบบ ผสมผสานร่วมกับ BOPPPS โมเดลเพื่อส่งเสริมการอ่านเพื่อความเข้าใจภาษาจีนของนักเรียนชั้น มัธยมศึกษาตอนปลายตามเกณฑ์ 80/80 2) เพื่อศึกษาดัชนีประสิทธิผลของกิจกรรมการเรียนรู้แบบ ผสมผสานร่วมกับ BOPPPS โมเดลเพื่อส่งเสริมการอ่านเพื่อความเข้าใจภาษาจีนของนักเรียนชั้น มัธยมศึกษาตอนปลาย 3) เพื่อศึกษาความพึงพอใจของนักเรียนที่มีต่อกิจกรรมการเรียนรู้แบบ ผสมผสานร่วมกับ BOPPPS โมเดลเพื่อส่งเสริมการอ่านเพื่อความเข้าใจภาษาจีนของนักเรียนชั้น มัธยมศึกษาตอนปลาย การวิจัยนี้ใช้รูปแบบกึ่งทดลอง (quasi-experimental design) กลุ่มตัวอย่างคือนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 4 จำนวน 26 คน จากหลักสูตรภาษาจีน โรงเรียนสันทรายวิทยาคม จังหวัด เชียงใหม่ ประเทศไทย โดยคัดเลือกด้วยย่างด้วยวิธีการสุ่มแบบมีวัตถุประสงค์ (purposive sampling) ผลการศึกษาแสดงให้เห็นว่า 1) ผลการพัฒนากิจกรรมการเรียนรู้แบบผสมผสานร่วมกับ BOPPPS โมเดล มีทั้งหมด 6 แผน 12 คาบ มีเนื้อหาเรื่องการอ่านเพื่อความเข้าใจภาษาจีนเกี่ยวกับสภาพอากาศ โดยมีกิจกรรมต่าง ๆ ได้แก่ การแข่งขันกลุ่ม การอภิปรายออนไลน์ และการสวมบทบาท กิจกรรมการเรียนรู้นี้มีประสิทธิภาพ 82.12/80.90 2) ดัชนีประสิทธิผลความสามารถในการอ่านเพื่อความเข้าใจ ภาษาจีนของนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาตอนปลายที่เรียนโดยใช้กิจกรรมการเรียนรู้แบบผสมผสาน ร่วมกับ BOPPPS โมเดลมีค่าเท่ากับ 50.99 3) นักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาตอนปลายที่เรียนโดยใช้กิจกรรมการเรียนรู้แบบผสมผสานร่วมกับ BOPPPS ไมเดลมีความพึงพอใจในระดับสูงที่สุด โดยมีค่าเฉลี่ย 4.52
