The Operation of Educational Administrators Following According to Sufficiency Economy Philosophy of Schools in Royal Initiative Project under Narathiwat Primary Educational Service Area Office 1
Abstract:
The purposes of the research were 1) to study the level of educational administrators following according to sufficiency economy philosophy of schools in Royal Initiative Project under Narathiwat Primary Educational Service Area Office 1, 2) to compare the opinion of teachers from schools in Royal Initiative Project under Narathiwat Primary Educational Service Area Office 1 classified by educational background, experience, and classroom level of schools in Royal Initiative Project under Narathiwat Primary Educational Service Area Office 1, and 3) to compile the suggestions of management of educational administrators following according to sufficiency economy philosophy of schools in Royal Initiative Project under Narathiwat Primary Educational Service Area Office 1. The samples were 183 teachers from schools in Royal Initiative Project under Narathiwat Primary Educational Service Area Office 1 in academic year 2014. The data collection tool was the five point scale questionnaires.
The mean, standard deviation, percentage, and F-test were employed for data analysis.
The results were as follows:
1. The overall and individual aspects of the operation of educational administrators following according to sufficiency economy philosophy of schools in Royal Initiative Project under Narathiwat Primary Educational Service Area Office 1 were at a high level.
2. The overall comparative results of the operation of educational administrators following according to sufficiency economy philosophy of schools in Royal Initiative Project under Narathiwat Primary Educational Service Area Office 1 classified by educational background were that there were no differences in 3 aspects.
3. The problems and suggestions of the operation of educational administrators following according to sufficiency economy philosophy of schools in Royal Initiative Project under Narathiwat Primary Educational Service Area Office 1 were as follows:
3.1 The problems were that administrators could not manage personnel regarding efficient teaching and learning in all subjects. Their management lacked sufficiency and balance of expense in budget planning. Schools activities were not various. Personnel lacked knowledge about sufficient economy. Teachers training affected teaching schedule. Administrators lacked planning for dealing with specific problem. Personnel lacked morality regarding working participation. Furthermore, they used schools resource extravagantly.
3.2 The suggestions were that administrators must apply Sufficient Economic Philosophy to schools and have management plan. Personnel should be encouraged to gain more knowledge about the philosophy. Meeting should be held in order to elucidate the working principles. Moreover, administrators should support teachers to attend training after hours in topic sufficiency economy. They should be decisive, consider problem thoroughly, and emphasize the working participation. Lesson plan should be made in order to others could follow it in case of some teachers are not in charge. Morality should be supported and applied in working and schools.
