Organization Citizenship Behavior, Knowledge Sharing and Work Efficiency of the Valuers in the Treasury Department
Abstract:
The objectives of this study were to investigate: 1) the level of organizational citizenship behavior, knowledge sharing and work efficiency of the valuers in the Treasury Department 2) the influence of organizational citizenship behavior that affect knowledge sharing of the valuers in the Treasury Department, and 3) the influence of knowledge sharing affecting work efficiency of the valuers in the Treasury Department. The samples were 220 employees in the division of property evaluation of the Treasury Department. The data were analyzed by using the frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, Pearsons correlation simple regression analysis and multiple regression analysis. The finding revealed that most of the respondents were female, aged 31-40 years old, with a bachelors degree, in the Treasury area office, and 6-10 years experience. The study results, showed that the average of courtesy, sportsmanship, civic virtue, conscientiousness, knowledge sharing and work efficiency, was at the highest level whereas altruism was at the high level. The results of hypothesis testing demonstrated that altruism, courtesy, sportsmanship, civic virtue and conscientiousness had a positive influence on knowledge sharing, and knowledge sharing had a positive influence on work efficiency with statistical significance at level 0.01.
