TOE Conceptual Framework that Affects Acceptance of the Use of Human Resources Management Information Systems Signaling and Telecommunications Department State Railway of Thailand
Abstract:
This research objectives were as follows. Study the acceptance factors for the use of Human Resources management information systems, the factors that influence the acceptance of the use of Human Resources management information systems, besides the acceptance of the use of Human Resources management information systems for Signaling and Telecommunications Department of the State Railway of Thailand. The sample group used in the study included Signaling and Telecommunications Department employees, State Railway of Thailand, in the central and provincial areas, totalling 266 people. Statistics used in the analysis include percentage, mean, and standard deviation. In addition, the relationship of factors was tested using multiple regression analysis, with statistical significance set at the 0.05 level.
The study found the acceptance factors for using Human Resources management information systems for the Signaling and Telecommunications Department of the State Railway of Thailand was a study of usability factors according to the TOE framework that affect the perceived usefulness of use and the perceived ease of using the system, consisting of technological factors, consisting of compatibility, and perception of benefits. Organizational factors include support from senior management, organizational practices, and the financial ability of employees. The environmental factors include business competitiveness, acceptance and use of information systems. The factors influencing the acceptance of the use of Human Resources management information systems for the Signaling and Telecommunications Department of the State Railway of Thailand found that technological factors and organizational factors were related to perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use of the system. Besides, the acceptance of the use of Human Resources management information systems for the Signaling and Telecommunications Department of the State Railway of Thailand found that technological factors and organizational factors can jointly explain or predict the dependent variable significantly at 0.05. The environmental factors do not affect explaining or predicting the dependent variable. The regression equation can be written as follows : Ŷ = 0.47 X1+ 0.17 X2
