Abstract:
The objectives of this research were 1) examine the academic leadership of school administrators under the Pathum Thani Primary Educational Service Area Office 1. 2) to compare the academic leadership of these administrators. The sample group consisted of 319 teachers, determined using Krejcie and Morgan's table for sample size calculation and selected through stratified random sampling. The research instrument was a questionnaire. Data were analyzed using statistical methods, including frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test, and F test
The research found that
1. The overall academic leadership of school administrators under the Pathum Thani Primary Educational Service Area Office 1 was at a high level. When considering each aspect, all were rated at a high level, ranked in descending order as follows: the development and utilization of educational technology, followed by the development of internal quality assurance systems and educational standards, research for educational quality improvement, and educational supervision (which had equal mean scores). Other aspects included assessment, evaluation, and credit transfer, curriculum KOK UNIVE development, and learning process development.
2. In comparing academic leadership, gender differences did not result in significantly different perceptions of administrators' academic leadership. Likewise, differences in educational levels did not lead to significant variations in perception, except in curriculum development, which showed a statistically significant difference at the .05 level. Differences in work experience resulted in statistically significant differences in perceptions of academic leadership at the .01 level, particularly in curriculum development, which also showed a statistically significant difference at the .05 level. School size differences also contributed to statistically significant variations in perceptions of academic leadership at the .01 level, with learning process development differing significantly at the .05 level.
