Abstract: Due to dust or particulate matter being dangerous to people who are exposed, this study investigated three sizes of particulate matter: total suspended particles (TSP), PM₁₀, and PM₂.₅. They were collected in the education offices of Muban Chombueng Rajabhat University (MCRU), Ratchaburi Province, namely the Office of the Dean of the Faculty, the Office of the Dean of the College, and the Office of the Director, which are educational management units of MCRU. An automatic particle collector was used to collect these particles during the last week of February to the first week of March 2023. The collection operated for 8 hours per time per unit. The collected particles were compared with the Thai air quality standard (by the Pollution Control Department, PCD). Afterward, the data were used to calculate human health risk evaluation from particulate matter exposure under ambient conditions for official staff. The results showed that some units had particulate matter levels exceeding the PCD standard for PM₂.₅, which should be managed to reduce particulate matter in these units. For other units, the particulate matter was calculated in terms of the hazard quotient, showing the human risk from exposure by inhalation
