Abstract:
The thesis entitled A Study of Sammādiṭṭhi and the Development of Phra Pariyatti Dhamma Department of General Education of Sapphanyu School is of three objectives: 1) to examine the Sammādiṭṭhi (Right Understanding), 2) to explore the context and problems of the Sapphanyuwitthaya School and 3) to analyze the Sammādiṭṭhi and the Development of the Phra Pariyatti Dhamma Department of General Education of Sapphanyuwitthaya School. It is qualitative research based on documented studies as well as in-depth interviews with key informants.
The findings indicated that Sammādiṭṭhi is the Right View or Right Understanding of Wholesomeness and Unwholesomeness in Theravada Buddhism. Lobha represents greed, Dosa represents wrath, and Moha represents illusion. Understanding how to eradicate unwholesomeness roots, knowing and perceiving the Four Noble Truths, and following the Noble Path, a person would attend to Nibbana.
In terms of the context and problems of Pariyattidhamma education at Sapphanyuwitthaya School's Department of General Education, it was discovered that the status of educational management of Pariyattidhamma in the Department of General Education has several important issues that need to be developed, such as educational quality and standards.
Regarding the analysis of Rights Understanding and Pariyattidhamma education in Sapphanyuwitthaya School's Department of General Education, it was discovered that the initial study of Sammādiṭṭhi principles would help to understand the learning process from a good environment caused by a person to lead to an auspicious path. It produces a learning process in the sphere of teaching that may be regarded as leading to the growth of education.
