Abstract:
The purposes of the research were to 1) study personal factors that affect the decision to use True Money Wallet in convenience stores, 2) study safety factors that affect the decision to use True Money Wallet in convenience stores, and 3) study the technology acceptance factors that affect the decision to use True Money Wallet in convenience stores.
This research was quantitative. The samples consisted of 400 individuals aged over 18 years old who use a smartphone and an electronic wallet to pay at convenience stores in Pathum Thani Province. The researcher collected data by questionnaire. Data
were subject to statistical analysis by frequency, percentage, mean, t-test, one-way ANOVA and the enter multiple linear regression method.
The research made the following findings. Firstly, personal factors regarding income and the amount of money used affect the decision to use True Money Wallet in different convenience stores. Secondly, there are four safety factors: the identity
verification system, safety in transaction and audit trails, personal data protection, and expert team; all had a positive effect on the decision to use True Money Wallet in convenience stores that was statistically significant at the .05 level. Finally, the perceived
usefulness and the perceived ease of use had a positive effect on the decision to use True Money Wallet in convenience stores that was statistically significant at the .05 level.
