Abstract:
The objective of the present was to study the chemical properties of vermicompost produced from durian peels, jackfruit peels, and low quality banans as which are remainder from the agricultural sector every year in Chanthaburi province. The worm of African Night Crawler (Eudrilus eugeniae.) species was in the experiment with a complete randomized designed plan which conswast of 4 different treatments as follow: Treatment 1: Use of Cow dung, Treatment 2: Use of Cow Dung with Durian Peels, Treatment 3: Use of Cow dung with Jack Fruit Peels, Treatment 4: Use of Cow Dung with inferior banana fruit. The process was to use above treatment as food to
the worm, by cutting it in 5 centimeter each and put in box where worm was being rawased by 5 kilokram each. This process was repeated for every 15 days totaling 4 times for the period of 60 Days and put water every day for humidification. After completing 60 days as per above process, stop giving food but continue to give water for the next 30 days, which then will be 90 days in total. After completing 90 days, collect the sample of the vermicompost pit from 4 treatment to study and analyze chemical composition such as Acidity (pH), Electrical Conductivity (EC), Organic Matter Quantity and main chemical element Nitrogen (N), Phosphorus (P) and Potassium (K).
