Abstract:
The study of the approach to reduce the amount of inventory in the production process focuses on increasing the efficiency of inventory management planning and planning improvements to support the upcoming situation. The objective is to reduce inventory effectively to reduce the risk of deterioration of stator parts production. From the analysis principles of the process in producing such parts, this part production process was selected for the study. There were 11 sample groups in total, which currently produce 800,000 pieces per year and will increase to 1.5 million pieces per year. This study focuses on production efficiency and appropriate waiting time. It can have sufficient inventory and meet customer demand. It will apply simulation under uncertain material demand using the program Tecnomatix Plant Simulation to measure, analyze, improve and control the production process. In order to improve products or product defects from the simulation results by the simulation program and find a way to find the most appropriate answer. From the study of the production process, it was found that the number of pieces stored in the area from 532,965 pieces, which can reduce the stored pieces by 395,582 pieces or 49.45 percent, including being able to use the storage space efficiently.
