Abstract: This research aimed to 1) compare the reading achievement of students using online English media (i.e. Kahoot Game) with those using traditional methods, 2) investigate the efficiency of the online English media (i.e. Kahoot Game) following criteria at 80/80, and 3) investigate the levels of English reading motivation of the students towards the use of online English media (i.e. Kahoot Game) to support reading abilities and those using traditional methods. The research was employed quasi-experimental research. The participants in this research included 52 participants from Phranakhon Rajabhat University. They were assigned to an experimental group and a control group for 26 participants in each group. Using a wide range of instruments, e.g., online English media lesson plans, English reading motivation questionnaire, and TOEFL Junior Reading Comprehension Test. The statistics used for quantitative data were frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, and independent t-test. Results of the research revealed the following: 1. The mean scores of the posttest in the experimental group was higher than the control group at the significant level of .05. 2. The efficiency of lesson plans in online English media E1/E2 = 85.96/83.08, which was higher than the provided E1/E2 (80/80) criterion. 3. Moreover, English reading motivation levels illustrated overall at a moderate level.
