Administrators and teachers opinions towards the academic affairs administration of the schools in Bo Rai district under the Trat primary educational service area office
Abstract:
This research aimed 1) to study the academic affairs administration of the schools in Bo Rai District, 2) to compare the academic affairs administration of the schools in Bo Rai District under the Trat Primary Educational Service Area Office classified by gender, work experience and school size. The population used in this research were obtained from 227 administrators and teachers from the schools in Bo Rai District altogether. The instruments used in this research were divided into 3 sections: 1) the check list questionnaire about general data of the respondents' status, 2) the questionnaire with the 5-rating scale, 30 items about the academic affairs administration of the schools in Bo Rai District. The discrimination was between 0.30-0.85. The reliability was 0.94. Computer package program was used for data analysis. Data were analyzed by mean, standard deviation, t-test, and One-way ANOVA, and 3) the open-ended questionnaire about the suggestions towards the academic affairs administration of the schools in Bo Rai District.
The results of this research showed that:
1. The academic affairs administration of the schools in Bo Rai District under the Trat Primary Educational Service Area Office was at a high level overall. It was found that learning development was at the highest level, the other 4 aspects were at a high level, as follows: The internal assurance and educational standard, the curriculum development, the educational supervision, and the educational measurement, evaluation and the transformation, respectively.
2. The results of the comparative analysis of academic affairs administration of the schools in Bo Rai District under the Trat Primary Educational Service Area Office, classified by gender, work experience, and school size showed no difference overall and in each aspect.
