Abstract:
The study consisted of the following objectives: 1) to develop the learning management plans based on Ariyasacca in history subject on the development of Thai history in the democracy period for the 3rd secondary school students at Wang Hin Wittayakhom School under Uthai Thani Secondary Education Service Area, Office 42; and 2) to compare the pretest and posttest learning achievement of learning management plans based on Ariyasacca in history subject on the development of Thai history in the democracy period for the 3rd secondary school students at Wang Hin Wittayakhom School under Uthai Thani Secondary Education Service Area, Office 42. A sample group included 30 students who were chosen by simple random sampling. The research tools included 6 learning management plans based on Ariyasacca in history subject that were evaluated by 5 experts and the item objective congruence (IOC) was used to evaluate the tools, which was equal to 0.99, as well as the 30-question learning achievement test. The obtained data were analyzed by mean, standard deviation, and t-test.
From the study, the following results are found:
1) The learning management based on Ariyasacca has a clear step with efficient process leading to problem-solving of students. From analyzing the item objective congruence of the learning management plans based on Ariyasacca in history subject on the development of Thai history in the democracy period for the 3rd secondary school students at Wang Hin Wittayakhom School under Uthai Thani Secondary Education Service Area, Office 42, it is found to be of congruence of 0.8 1.0. The learning management plans are of propriety at the highest level.
2) The learning management plans based on Ariyasacca in history subject on the development of Thai history in the democracy period for the 3rd secondary school students at Wang Hin Wittayakhom School under Uthai Thani Secondary Education Service Area, Office 42 are found as follows: the first learning management plan corresponds to the fourth learning strand on the development of Thai history in the democracy period, with a pretest mean of 12.87 and a posttest mean of 26.53, a standard deviation (S.D.) of 1.756, a t-test of -29.826, and a statistical significance of 0.000. With a statistical significance of 0.05, the results suggest that posttest learning achievement is higher than pretest learning achievement.
