Abstract:

The research followed a mixed-method approach utilizing questionnaires and focus group discussions as the research instruments. The sample comprised 186 Baan Moo 1 Community households, with one representative per household. Statistical analysis includes percentage, mean, standard deviation, and insights from the focus group comprising nine representatives from the public sector, community leaders, and household representatives. The focus group discussions found that the guidelines for household accounting to improve the quality of life should have included inviting and promoting active participation, cultivating positive attitudes, and creating role models such as community leaders. Regular training sessions were conducted to provide knowledge and consistent follow-up and create learning resources for household accounting with in the community.
