Abstract:
This research aimed to 1) to examine The Reality and Expectations Regarding Public Services Provided by the Registration Office, Nong Hong District, Buriram Province, 2) compare the current and expected conditions of public service delivery at the Registration Office, and 3) study opinions and suggestions regarding public service delivery at the Registration Office. This study employed a quantitative research approach. The samples were randomly selected, with a sample size of 380 determined by using Krejcie and Morgan's Table The samples were proportionally distributed across various subdistricts and then selected by simple random sampling. The data were collected by using a questionnaire with a reliability value of 0.917. The statistics used for analysis included percentages, mean, standard deviation, and t-test. The findings revealed that: 1) the overall current and expected conditions for public service delivery at the Registration Office in Nong Hong District, Buriram Province were rated at a high level. The highest mean score was the aspect of trustworthiness, followed by tangibility of services, and responsiveness to the public. The expected conditions for public service delivery were also at a high level, with the highest mean score of trustworthiness, followed by tangibility of services, and empathy toward the public; 2) the comparison between the current and expected conditions showed a statistically significant difference at the 0.05 level, with the expected conditions having a higher mean score than the current conditions; and 3) Suggestions for
