Abstract:
The objectives of this research were to: 1) Investigate the current state of digital competency among teachers in the Ruea Luang Phachi Nusorn School group. 2)Study the development of digital skills based on the Four itthibada Principles among teachers in the Ruea Luang Phachi Nusorn School group. 3) Propose strategies for enhancing digital skills in accordance with the Four Itthibada Principles for teachers in the Ruea Luang Phachi Nusorn School group, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province. This study employs a mixed-methods approach, collecting data through opinion surveys from a sample of 175 teachers. The data were analyzed using statistical methods, including mean and standard deviation, along with content analysis derived from interviews with seven experts.
The research findings indicate that:
1. The overall use of digital technology among teachers in the Ruea Luang Phachi Nusorn School group is at a high level. This includes: 1) Internet usage. 2) Safe use of digital technology. 3) Use of software for creating digital media.4) Computer usage. These achievements are attributed to the support provided by school administrators, encouraging teachers to use digital media creation software in their teaching practices.
2. The development of digital skills among teachers in the Ruea Luang Phachi Nusorn School group, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province, should focus on the following: 1) The administrators motivate teachers to see the benefits of developing computer skills by organizing activities to inspire them. 2) The administrators support teachers in continuously learning how to use digital media programs. 3) The administrators encourage teachers to receive software development training for usage and avoid using public Wi-Fi. 4) There should be an assessment of the suitability and efficiency of the tools used for internet access to ensure optimal functionality.
3. Proposals for developing digital skills among teachers in the Ruea Luang Phachi Nusorn School group based on the Four itthibada Principles are as follows: 1)Administrators should set clear goals for enhancing teachers' digital skills by organizing training programs that inspire teachers to cultivate a passion for self-improvement in computer usage. 2) Policies should be established to encourage teachers to practice using software for creating digital learning materials. 3) Administrators should embrace change and develop software systems to stay up-to-date with the advancements of the new era. 4) There should be continuous evaluation and improvement of digital skills to resolve issues related to internet connectivity and the websites of the Ruea Luang Phachi Nusorn School group in Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province
