Abstract:
The objectives of this Researcher are : 1. To study the level of public participation in social welfare work in Chiang Dao Subdistrict Municipality Chiang Dao District Chiang Mai Province 2. To study the relationship of Saraniyadhamma principles with people's participation in social welfare work in Chiang Dao Subdistrict Municipality Chiang Dao District Chiang Mai Province 3. To propose guidelines for promoting public participation in social welfare work in Chiang Dao Subdistrict Municipality Chiang Dao District Chiang Mai Province By applying the principles of Buddhism.
This research study Conducted according to the integrated research method, namely quantitative research, which uses a survey research method from distributing questionnaires. and qualitative research By means of in-depth interviews with 10 key informants and using content analysis techniques The context is presented in an essay with a frequency distribution table of key informants. to support information Quantitatively, the sample group used in the research was people living in Chiang Dao Subdistrict Municipality Chiang Dao District Chiang Mai Province Using the sampling method from Taro Yamane's formula, a sample size of 364 people was obtained Data were analyzed by finding frequency, percentage, mean, and standard deviation and analyze the relationship between Saraniyadhamma principles and people's participation in social welfare work of Chiang Dao Subdistrict Municipality Chiang Dao District Chiang Mai Province Analyzes were performed by finding the relationship between variables. Using the method of finding the Pearson correlation coefficient.
Research findings are as follows
1. Level of public participation in the social welfare work of the subdistrict municipality Chiang Dao, Chiang Dao District Chiang Mai Province Overall, it is at a moderate level (𝑥̅ = 3.33 ) When considering the details of each aspect, it was found that participation in receiving benefits at a high level (𝑥̅ = 3.8 ) Participation in operations is at a moderate level (𝑥̅ = 3.22) Participation in evaluation is at a moderat e level (𝑥̅ = 3.13) and participation in deciding is at a moderate level (𝑥̅ = 3.11 ), respectively.
2. Relationship of Saraniyadhamma principles with people's participation in social welfare work of Chiang Dao Subdistrict Municipality Chiang Dao District Chiang Mai Province as a whole has a very high level of positive relationship (R=.892**) with statistical significance at the 0.01 level.
3. Guidelines for promoting public participation in social welfare work of Chiang Dao Subdistrict Municipality Chiang Dao District Chiang Mai Province By applying the principles of Buddhism, it was found that 1) people participate in decision making By determining needs and selecting policies and creating operational plans which allows citizens to jointly decide on every process Those who take part must be people who think well of others with a pure heart Know how to show respect Be polite and respectful of others. 2) People take part in operations through various channels There is a public service system Those who take part must have good manners Have dedication and care Be a person who is smiling and cheerful. 3) People participate in receiving benefits You can further develop your career to create additional income for yourself They must take into account rules, regulations, and social norms Extend the principles of equality and equality Have a generous spirit. 4) People participate in the evaluation Encourage the public to participate and evaluate the results of operations at every step Before work during work and operating principles To use the evaluation results to summarize, analyze and decide on operations Nexttime, those who participate in the evaluation must be honest with themselves and others Follow regulations and laws.
