Abstract:
This research aimed to: 1) study the administration of student affairs based on the Four Saṅgahavatthu Principles by school administrators; 2) explore guidelines for managing student affairs based on the Four Saṅgahavatthu Principles by school administrators under the Office of the Vocational Education Commission, Nong Bua Lam Phu Province. The study employed a mixed-methods research approach. Quantitative data were collected using a questionnaire with a reliability coefficient of 0.92. The sample consisted of 172 participants, including school administrators, teachers, and educational personnel. Statistical methods used included frequency, percentage, mean, and standard deviation. For qualitative data, semi-structured interviews were conducted with nine key informants selected through purposive sampling. Content analysis was used to analyze and present the data narratively.
The research results were as follows:
1. The overall administration of student affairs based on the Four Saṅgahavatthu Principles for school administrators was found to be at the highest level.
2. The guidelines for managing student affairs based on the Four Saṅgahavatthu Principles for school administrators revealed the following: Guidance Management: Demonstrates excellence in promoting student potential through career guidance, further education counseling, and life skills development, with effective support from teachers and the community. Special Programs: Clear goals are established, and resources are allocated appropriately, resulting in the successful implementation of various programs as planned. Discipline Management: Policies are clearly defined, emphasizing positive psychology and fostering collaboration with parents and the community. Student Welfare: Comprehensive welfare management covers health, nutrition, and support for underprivileged students. Student Activities: A wide variety of activities are organized to promote moral values, life skills, and alignment with the schools vision.
