The influencing factors of academic self-efficacy of students in Hexi college
Abstract:
The purpose of the study on the influencing factors of academic self-efficacy of students at Hexi College was to comprehensively understand the current status of their academic self-efficacy, delve deeply into its influencing factors, analyze the relationships between these factors and academic self-efficacy, and propose targeted improvement suggestions to promote the academic development and mental health of students. This study explored the influence of four factors, namely learning interest, attribution style, teacher support, and classroom atmosphere on academic self-efficacy of students in Hexi College.
Adopting a quantitative research method, a total of 400 questionnaires were distributed, with 347 valid responses, yielding an effective response rate of 89.0%. The study found that learning interest, attribution style, teacher support, and classroom atmosphere have positive effects on enhancing self-efficacy of students at Hexi College. Based on the findings, the following suggestions are proposed: (1) Stimulating learning interest, (2) Encouraging positive attribution styles, (3) Providing adequate teacher support, and (4) Creating a positive classroom atmosphere.
