Abstract:
This thesis focused on three objectives: to study the attitude towards the application of 4 Brahamvihara principle for monastery administration of Sangha, Mueng District, Pathum Thani Province, to compare their attitudes towards the application of Four Brahamavihara principle for the monastery administration, Muang district, Pathum Thani province classified by independent variables, and to study suggestions on the application of Brahmavihara principle for monastery administration according to the Sanghas attitudes in Muang district, Pathum Thani province. It was quantitative. Tools used in research include a questionnaire with key informants, that is, 5 ecclesiastical Sangha in Muang district, Pathum Thani province.
The results showed that the application of Four Brahmavihara principle for monastery administration according to the attitude of Sangha in Muang district, Pathum Thani province, in overall, was at a high level (x̄= 4.31, S.D. = 0.406)
The result of a comparative analysis of the application of the Four Brahmavihara principles for monastery administration according to the attitude of Sangha in Muang district, Pathum Thani province, divided by personal characteristics, was found that most of Bhikkhu Sangha with age, the Buddhist rent years, education, Dhamma studies qualifications and Pali qualifications who had attitudes towards the application of Brahmavihara principle for monastery administration according to the attitude of Sangha was significantly different at the 0.05 level.
Problems, obstacles, and suggestions for the application of Four Brahmavihara principle for monastery administration according to the Sanghas attitudes in Muang district, Pathum Thani province, indicated that Bhikkhus still require the skills and abilities to administrate their monasteries and having less budget supported, government and private funding should be encouraged for proactive media setting to modernize the dissemination by using media technology. Regarding building renovation and monastery maintenance, it requires the learned and skillful persons, monastery and the community need the good communication and coordination for organizing activities.
