Abstract:
This study objectives were: 1) To examine the level of quality of working life of personnel of the local administration promotion office Nakhon Ratchasima Province.
2) To compare the quality of working life of personnel of the local administration promotion office Nakhon Ratchasima Province, classified by personal factors, including gender, age, education, duration of
employment in the organization, and monthly salary. 3) To study opinions and suggestions on the quality of working life of personnel of the local administration promotion office Nakhon Ratchasima Province. The research method used was mixed methods:
1) quantitative research. The population in the study was 90 personnel in the Office of Local Administration Promotion, Nakhon Ratchasima Province. The questionnaire was used.
The statistics used for data analysis were percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test, and one-way analysis of variance. The results of the research found that the overall quality of working life of the personnel in the Office of Local Administration Promotion, Nakhon Ratchasima Province was at a much level. When considering each aspect, it was found that it was at a moderate level in one aspect, fair and adequate compensation. The rest were at a much level.
The aspect with the highest quality of working life was welfare and benefits, followed by health and safety at work, personnel development, advancement, and job security, respectively.
The results of the comparison of the quality of working life of personnel of the local administration promotion office Nakhon Ratchasima Province, classified by personal factors, found that gender and monthly salary were not different. However, age, education level, and duration of employment in the organization were significantly different at a statistical level of .05. 2) qualitative research
used a specific selection method, with 6 people. Data were collected through semi-structured
interviews. The interview results showed that the Office of Local Administration Promotion, Nakhon Ratchasima Province provided welfare and benefits that could help personnel have a better quality of life. There were personnel development activities to keep up with the changes in the environment and they should be given opportunities to expand their careers or be promoted
to a higher position. 3) Opinions and suggestions on the quality of working life of personnel of the local administration promotion office Nakhon Ratchasima Province, found that work
performance should be evaluated appropriately because the evaluation helped to develop themselves. Personnel must fully demonstrate their knowledge and abilities, always learn to develop themselves in order to apply the knowledge to their work when they are in a higher position, and personnel should be given opportunities to advance in their positions or to a higher level appropriately, not too late compared to personnel in other agencies."
