Abstract:
The objectives of this research were 1) to develop the programmed instruction in Social Studies, Religion, and Culture Subject Group on The History of The Great Kings of Thailand for Grade 5 students at Watsisuk (Yaemyuan Uppatham) School, Khlong Sam Wa, Bangkok at 80/80 ofcriterion, and 2) to compare the pretest and posttest of the learning achievement with the programmed instruction in Social Studies, Religion, and Culture Subject Group on The History of The Great Kings of Thailand for Grade 5 students at Watsisuk (Yaemyuan Uppatham) School, Khlong Sam Wa, Bangkok. This research applied Experimental Research with One Group Pretest Posttest Design. The sample was 30 Grade 5 students at Watsisuk (Yaemyuan Uppatham) School, Khlong Sam Wa, Bangkok in the second semester of the academic year 2022 with the purposive sampling. The research instruments were 1) the programmed instruction on The History of The Great Kings of Thailand, and 2) the pretest and posttest of the learning achievement with the programmed instruction on The History of The Great Kings of Thailand. The statistics for the data analysis used percentage, mean, standard deviation, and t-test
The research results were as follows:
1. The result of developing the programmed instruction in Social Studies, Religion, and Culture Subject Group on The History of The Great Kings of Thailand for Grade 5 students at Watsisuk (Yaemyuan Uppatham) School, Khlong Sam Wa, Bangkok found that the efficiency was 86.19/90.19 that conformed to the criterion.
2. The result of comparing the pretest and posttest of the learning achievement with the programmed instruction in Social Studies, Religion, and Culture Subject Group on The History of The Great Kings of Thailand for Grade 5 students at Watsisuk (Yaemyuan Uppatham) School, Khlong Sam Wa, Bangkok found that the posttest of the learning achievement was higher than the pretest at 0.05 of statistical significance.
