Abstract:
The purposes of this research were 1) to study the level of administrative skills of school administrators that affect the success of administration, 2) to investigate the levels of success of school administration, 3) to study the relationship between administrative skills And the success of school administration; and 4) to find out the predicted equation for success in school administration under Buriram Primary Educational Service Area office 2. The samples consisted of 343 teachers, selected by using Taro Yamane's formula with the continence of 95% and stratified random sampling. The instrument used in this study was a questionnaire comprised two parts: checklist and five- rating scale with the reliability value of 0.98. The statistics used to analyze the collected data were frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, Pearson Product Moment Correlation Coefficient and Multiple Regression Analysis. The results were as follows:
1. The administrative skills; that affect the success of school administration under Buriram Primary Educational Service Area Office 2 in overall were at the high level aspect. Having considered each aspect, it showed that the creativity and innovation was ranked at the highest level, followed by vision, technique, language and communication, and human relations respectively while the school administration was found at the lowest level.
2. The level of success of school administration under Buriram Primary Educational Service Area Office 2 in overall was, at the high level. Having considered each aspect, it showed that the teacher quality was ranked at the highest level, followed by student quality while the school administration quality was found at the lowest level.
3. All administrative skills had a positive relationship with the success of school administration under Buriram Primary Educational Service Area Office 2 at the statistical significance of the .01 level.
4. The variables that could predict the success of school administration under Buriram Primary Educational Service Area Office 2 at the statistical significance of the .01 level were as follows: language and communication (X), technical methods (X,), creativity and innovation (X), educational administration (X₂), and human relations (X,). These variables could be used together in order to predict their success in school administration at 80.40 (R2 = 0.804).
5. The predicted equation can be established below. Predicted equation of raw scores: Y'= .595 +292x+197x3+.171x3+.108x2+.100x1 Predicted equation of standard scores: Zy35422242+ .1922+13522+.11421
