Abstract:
This research aimed to: 1) create and investigate the efficiency of digital innovation
4D system on stage costume design subject for the design and creation of Pastraporn of secondary 5 (Grade 11) students, Suankularb Wittayalai Chon Buri school, 2) compare the academic achievement of learning outcomes for students using digital innovation 4D system before and after learning, 3) study the academic achievement of practical skills for students using digital innovation 4D system based on the quality criteria at 70%, and 4) explore students satisfaction towards the subject of stage costume design for the design and creation of Pastraporn using digital innovation 4D system
The research samples were 38 of secondary 5 students studying in Arts program at Suankularb Wittayalai Chon Buri school, in the first semester of academic year 2023. This study was quantitative research, and research instruments comprised digital innovation 4D system, lesson plan, knowledge test, skill assessment, and satisfaction survey. The data analysis was proceeded by descriptive statistics including percentage, mean, standard deviation, and t-test.
The research findings revealed that: 1) digital innovation 4D system had the overall efficiency at the highest level, and the topics receiving the highest level, on average, were presentation style and innovation usage followed by the results of innovation usage at a high level, 2) students obtained the average scores of academic achievement towards the subject of stage costume design for the design and creation of Pastraporn on post-test higher than those of pre-test at a statistical significance level of .05, 3) the samples had the academic achievement of practical skills at the highest level, and after comparing with the quality criteria, students scored the practical skills at an excellent level accounted for 100%, and 4) the samples were satisfied with the usage of digital innovation 4D system in education with both overall and sectional scores at the highest level.
