A development model for the one-stop investment service at the provincial level of the planning and investment department in Champasak province, Lao people's democratic republic
Abstract:
The objective of this research was to create a development model for the one-stop investment service at the provincial level of the planning and investment department in Champasak Province, Lao People's Democratic Republic. The research was conducted in 3 phases. The first phase was to study the conditions and the problems of the one-stop investment service at the provincial level of the planning and investment department in Champasak Province, Lao People's Democratic Republic.
The samples were 200 staff from the planning and investment department. They were selected by purposive sampling. The second phase was to create a development model for the one-stop investment service at the provincial level of the planning and investment department in Champasak Province, Lao People's Democratic Republic. The target group consisted of 15 experts having knowledge and experience about the one-stop investment service. The experts were selected by purposive sampling. The third phase was to evaluate the development model for the one-stop investment service at the provincial level of the planning and investment department in Champasak Province, Lao People's Democratic Republic. The target group consisted of 15 experts having knowledge and experience about the one-stop investment service. The experts were selected by purposive sampling. The research instruments were a questionnaire, an interview form and a group discussion record. The statistics used to were percentage, mean, standard deviation and content analysis.
The research findings were as follows.
The conditions and the problems of the one-stop investment service of the planning and investment department in Champasak Province, Lao People's Democratic Republic with the highest mean were the organizational management, followed by the personnel and the management, respectively. The development model of the one-stop investment service at the provincial level of the planning and investment department in Champasak Province, Lao People's Democratic Republic consisted of 4 components: principles, an objective, operation and conditions for success. The first component, the principles, was the development of the one-stop investment service of the planning and investment department in Champasak Province, Lao People's Democratic Republic. The second component, the objective, was the objective to obtain the development model of the one-stop investment service of the planning and investment department in Champasak Province, Lao People's Democratic Republic. The third component, the operation, consisted of 1) finding problems and causes, 2) planning and operating, and 3) following the findings of the evaluation of the development model. The fourth component, the conditions for success, was that the relevant organizational administrators and staff realized the importance of the service, were ready to prepare for the service, had knowledge and understood in the service, shared their knowledge and participated in activities and the organizations and agencies following and monitoring the operation controlled the performance continually. The findings of the evaluation of the development model for the one-stop investment service at the provincial level of the planning and investment department in Champasak Province, Lao People's Democratic Republic showed that the development model was appropriate and possible at a high level.
