Abstract:
This research has the objectives: 1. To study the level of environmental management of the Muang Kai Subdistrict Administrative Organization. 2. To study the relationship between the principles of Iddhipatthamma and the application of Buddhist principles to promote environmental management of the Subdistrict Administrative Organization. Mueang Kai Subdistrict, Mae Taeng District, Chiang Mai Province 3. To propose guidelines for applying Buddhist principles to environmental management of the Mueang Kai Subdistrict Administrative Organization. The research is a combined method research. Between quantitative research methods using a sample group of 311 people, statistics used were frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation. and use statistics to test hypotheses by finding coefficients Pearson correlation and qualitative research methods The key informants were 10 persons or tools used to collect data were interviews. Interview data were analyzed using content analysis techniques.
The results of the research found that:
1. Environmental management of the Mueang Kai Subdistrict Administrative Organization found that people's opinions regarding overall environmental management were at a high level. In each area, project evaluations were found to be at the highest level. policy setting operational planning Defining responsible organization and high level project management.
2. The relationship between the principles of Iddhipatthamma and the application of Buddhist principles to promote the role of environmental management of the Mueang Kai Subdistrict Administrative Organization, Mae Taeng District, Chiang Mai Province, found that overall there is a positive relationship. In the same direction was at a high level (r = 0.75) with statistical significance at the 0.01 level. When classified into each aspect, it was found that there was a high level of positive relationship. There are positive relationships at a high level in two areas: vimansa and viriya, and at a moderate level in two areas: chanda and citta.
3. Guidelines for applying Buddhist principles to promote environmental management of of the Mueang Kai Subdistrict Administrative Organization, Mae Taeng District, Chiang Mai Province, found that the principle of Chantha (satisfaction) of the people creates knowledge and understanding in preserving the environment for the people. In order to understand the environmental management plan or project at the Mueang Kai Subdistrict Administrative Organization, the principle of viriya (perseverance) of the government and public sectors should jointly propose problems. Think of ways to solve problems. Set guidelines for solving problems and correctly transmit to the people in the community. Chitta principle (caring) creates common consciousness in taking action to preserve the environment, starting with oneself. Vimansa principle (panya) results in learning together to find ways to Community environmental conservation leads to good environmental management. and can be implemented in a sustainable manner.
