Abstract:
The entitled thesis is consisted of following objectives;- (1) to study of concept concerning stragety of happy creation, (2) to study of concept concerning happiness in Buddhism and (3) to analyze the stragety of happy creaction in Buddhism for Thai society. It is studied the primary source from Tipiṭaka and the secondary source from a text, journal, research report including medias. This is documentary research. Its analysis of data is descriptive.
The results of the research are as follows:-
The stragety is cleverness towards technics created by wisdom in Buddhism. It is divided 3 levels;- i.e. (1) happiness for common people or called Lokiyasukkha, (2) happiness for a noble man or Lokuttarasukkha. It is divided 2 kinds;- i.e. (1) Sãmissukkha, sensual happiness with things, it depends on seductions, it arises from sensual thing, from getting any thing, from eating, from using, from what is received, from some rank, (2) Nirãmissukkha, happiness independent of material things or sensual desires, spiritual happiness. this happiness does not depend on any thing, not seductions, that is transaparency of peaceful mind or from realization of truth, from study of Dhamma, from knowledge of Dhamma, from seeing blessing one, from seeing good, beauty, from being freedom without covering, from being free from non-attachment in oneself and any thing, from understanding impermanence of life and the world. There are 3 levels;- i.e. (1) Kãmasukkha, the happiness is mixed by sensual things, (2) Jhãnasukkha, it is middle happiness, ii may be Lokĩsukkha or Lokuttarasukkha and (3) Nippãnasukkha, it is sensibility for eradication of rebirth as the cycle of suffering. The 3 ways of treatment for approach of happiness are the treatment in Sila, Meditation, Wisdom. These should be applied to cover 4 sides of life, i.e. body, mind, society and wisdom. In which, it is dided the happiness of common people coming from to have prosperity, to chare it, not to be indepth and inlawful. The happiness of monk comes from Dhamma treatment towards Nippãna.
The concept concerning happiness of Buddhism is to free from desease is the highest lucky. The highest level is Nippãna in the word of Nippãna is the highest happiness this comes from disdefilement, from the eradication of rebirth, not to eturn to suffering again as noble men. For happiness of common people is sensual happiness coming from love, harmony in the word of harmony of team makes happiness. Sila treatment will be got 3 levels of happiness, - i.e. (1) to receive praise, (2) to get property and (3) after death, he goes to happy area, heaven. These are happiness from blessing sight in 4 Buddhist areas;- i.e. the place of brith, of Enlightenment, of the first sermon and place of death. Anly one goes to the 4 ones, after death,. they go to happy area, heaven. These are happiness in this world and next world. The state of happiness for any one enjoys in this world and next or the both. In which, holistic happiness is the happiness of boy, mind, society and wisdom.
The application of stragety of happy creation in Buddhism, for common people created by activity together according to Aparihãniyadhamma, things leading never to decline but only to prosperity; conditions of welfare as republic as such the community of people provides the festival of Pakthongchai (Arising of Flag). Every one has conscious to participate in this Dhamma;- i.e. (1) (to hold regular and frequent meetings, (2) to meet together in harmony, disperse in harmony, and do their business and duties in harmony, (3) to introduce no revolutionary ordinance, or break up no established ordinance, but to abide by the original or fundamental Vajjĩdhamma norm and principles, (4) to honor and respect the elders among the vajjĩdhamma and deem them worthy of listening to, (5) the women and girls of the families are to dwell without being forced or abducted, (6) to honor and worship the Vajjian shrines, monuments and objects of worship, both central and provincial, and do not neglect those righteous ceremonies held before for them and (7) to provide the rightful protection, shelter and support for the Arahants and wish that the Arahants who have not come may enter the realm and those who have entered may dwell pleasantly therein. The activity is regarded as sport as divine medicine to be able to eradicate defilements as conceit or dogma towards a full man. The happiness comes from social duty as 6 directions;- i.e. to pay respect for parent, lecture, welfare to a child, a wife, friend, worker and to meet a monk for Dhamma listening. Its model of knowledge factor is Helpfulness, Nice Speech, People Welfare and Self Moderation.
