Abstract:
The research studied A Four Paccaya principles-based intellectual consumption behavioral system for Phrapariyattidhamma school students in Nakhon Phanom Province. The objective of this study were (1) To study knowledge about a Four Paccaya principles-based intellectual consumption behavioral system for Phrapariyattidhamma school students in Nakhon Phanom Province, (2) To develop a Four Paccaya principles-based intellectual consumption behavioral system for Phrapariyattidhamma school students in Nakhon Phanom Province and (3) To evaluate the efficient for a Four Paccaya principles-based intellectual consumption behavioral system for Phrapariyattidhamma school students in Nakhon Phanom Province. It was research and development (R&D) contains document analysis, using tools such as questionnaires and interviews in collecting data testing system from questionnaires with 48 students and data from interviews with the director and 7 teachers/persons, qualitative data analysis using content analysis. Quantitative data were analyzed using percentage statistics. Mean and Standard Deviation. The measurement by using questionnaire and in-depth interview. The recording data, test the system from the questionnaire of 48 students. Data from interviews with the director and teachers, total 7 persons. It was analyzed by quantitative and qualitative with statistic, percentage and standard deviation.
Major Findings:
1. In terms of general knowledge, consumption behavior system with wisdom according to the principles of 4 factors, it was found that: Consumption generally means eating food, drinking water, beverages, using clothing, housing, including medicine for human life in society. In Buddhism, consumption means eating and using four necessities: robes, alms, clothing, and Gilànabhesajja. Food consumption behavior refers to the practice or expression of eating that a person does on a daily basis. Intellectual consumption behavior means using the eyes, ears, nose, tongue, and body to perceive things and then educate them, that is, gain knowledge and be useful.
2. In terms of developing A Four Paccaya principles-based intellectual consumption behavioral system, it was found that (1) In terms of food, overall all items were at a moderate level. When considering each item, it was found that food consumption was on time for every meal, every day. Its has the most average. Second is that you choose to consume food that is clean and hygienic. at a high level. The item with the lowest average. It is at a low level. You consume all 5 food groups in 1 day.(2) Residential side Overall, all items were at a moderate level. When considering each item, it was found that: Your point of keeping the room in order is the most average. Your residence is a place that provides good protection from cold, heat, and rain. (3) Clothing Overall, every item is at a high level. 3. In terms of system efficiency evaluation from experts, It was found that overall every aspect was at the highest level. As for the monks, the Sangha must wear complete robes. To prevent cold-heat and conceal embarrassment M = Medicine (Gilànabhesajja) There are medicines and tools used to treat various ailments of monks, novices and ordinary people.
