Abstract:
The objectives of this research were 1) to study the factors affecting behavior in selecting the services of the Government Savings Bank, 2) to compare personal factors with factors affecting the behavior in selecting the services of the Government Savings Bank, and 3) to study guidelines to enhance the use of the services of Government Savings Bank, Ban Mai Chaiyaphot Branch, Buriram Province. The sample was 369 customers who use the services of Government Savings Bank, Ban Mai Chaiyaphot Branch, Buriram Province selected by accidental sampling. The instrument used in the research was a questionnaire. Statistics used in data analysis included percentage, mean, and standard deviation. To test for differences between the means of independent samples, t-test and F-test were used. When differences were found, comparisons were made according to Fisher's method (Fisher's Least Significance Difference (LSD). The research results found that factors affecting behavior in selecting Government Savings Bank services Ban Mai Chaiyaphot Branch, Buriram Province, overall, was at a high level in every aspect in which reliability and trustworthiness factors had the highest average values, followed by information security factors, caring for customers, speed or response in providing services, and providing online media services, respectively. For personal factors and factors affecting behavior in choosing Government Savings Bank services, Ban Mai Chaiyaphot Branch, Buriram Province, it was found that there was no difference between gender and age factors affecting the behavior in choosing the services of the Government Savings Bank, Ban Mai Chaiyaphot Branch, Buriram Province. However, for the educational level, occupation, and average monthly income, statistically significant difference was found at the .05 level
