An Integrated Model of Organizational Creative Culture and Sappurisa-Dhamma 7 Promoting Performance of Teachers under Loei Primary Educational Service Area Offices
Abstract:
This research aimed to 1) study the components of creative organizational culture and the seven virtuous qualities of a good man or Sappurisa Dhamma that promote teachers' performance in schools under the office of the Primary Educational Service Area Office, Loei Province; 2) develop a model of creative organizational culture and the seven virtuous qualities of a good man or Sappurisa Dhamma that promote teachers' performance in schools under the office of the Primary Educational Service Area Office, Loei Province; and 3) evaluate the model of creative organizational culture and the seven virtuous qualities of a good man that promote teachers' performance in schools under the office of the Primary Educational Service Area Office, Loei Province, using research and development methodology divided into three phases. In phase 1: the study analyzed the components of creative organizational culture based on theoretical concepts and related research documents to identify best practices. Semi-structured interviews were conducted with 9 school administrators and 9 teachers from 3 small, 3 medium-sized, and 3 large schools and 2 monks to confirm the appropriateness, operational definitions and indicators of creative organizational culture and the seven virtuous qualities of a good man or Sappurisa Dhamma that promote teachers' performance. The research tools used include group interview recording forms. In phase 2: development of the model and manual for integrating creative organizational culture with the 7 Principles of Sufficiency Economy to enhance teachers' practices in schools under the office of the Primary Education Service Area Office, Loei Province, using data from phase 1 research to develop the model and create the manual. The developed model and manual were then reviewed in a critique meeting by 12 qualified experts. The research tools used include meeting critique forms for draft models and manuals. In phase 3: pilot testing and evaluation of the model for integrating creative organizational culture with the the seven virtuous qualities of a good man or Sappurisa Dhamma to promote teachers' performance in schools under the office of the Primary Education Service Area, Loei Province. This research involved pilot testing the model and manual in one school under Loei Primary Education Service Area Office2. The model and manual were tested in two cycles over a period of three months, during the first semester of 2023. The research tools included the draft model and manual for integrating creative organizational culture with the seven virtuous qualities of a good man or Sappurisa Dhamma that promote teachers' performance in schools under the office of the Primary Education Service Area Office, Loei Province, pre and post-implementation questionnaires, implementation log forms, observation and recording forms, meeting minutes for reflection, and assessment forms. Statistics used for data analysis include percentages, averages, standard deviations, content analysis, and assessment of the organizational culture integration and the 7 principles of ethical culture promotion in school teachers under the jurisdiction of the Primary Education Area Office, Loei Province. Connoisseur-ship assessment was conducted by 9 experts to evaluate the suitability, feasibility, usefulness, and alignment of the model. Descriptive statistics such as mean (x̅) and standard deviation (S.D.) were used to measure data dispersion. Qualitative data regarding additional suggestions on the draft model, using open-ended questions, were collected. The data were then analyzed to refine and develop the model comprehensively. The results of the research were as follows. 1) The components of creative organizational culture and the seven virtuous qualities of a good man that promote teachers' performance in schools under the office of the Primary Educational Service Area Office, Loei Province, consist of 6 components arranged by their importance: 1) Internal Relationships within the Organization, 2) Open atmosphere, 3) Self-sacrifice, 4) Shared values, 5) Focus on success, and 6) Teamwork. 2) The developed model includes 6 main components: 1) Internal Relationships within the Organization, 2) Open atmosphere, 3) Self-sacrifice, 4) Shared values, 5) Focus on success, and 6) Teamwork. 3) The results of the experimental use and evaluation of the model of creative organizational culture and the seven virtuous qualities of a good man that promote teachers' performance in schools under the jurisdiction of the Primary Educational Service Area Office, Loei Province, showed: 3.1 The overall application of the model was high ( = 4.35). 3.2 The evaluation results : Mean (x̅) and Standard deviation (S.D.) and the evaluation results of the organizational culture integration model and he seven virtuous qualities of a good man that promote teachers' performance in schools under the jurisdiction of the Primary Educational Service Area Office, Loei Province that promote teachers' performance in schools under the office of Primary Education Service Area Office, Loei Province, indicate that overall, the averagely scored at the highest level was (x̅= 4.66, S.D. = 0.06).
