Academic Leadership of School Administrators Affecting Effectiveness of Teacher Performance in Schools under Nakhon Si Thammarat Primary Educational Sevice Area Office 3
Abstract:
This thematic paper has the following objectives 1) To study the academic leadership level of the executives management in the Nakhon Si Thammarat Primary Educational Service Area Office 3. 2) To study the effectiveness level of teachers' work in the Nakhon Si Thammarat Primary Educational Service Area Office 3. 3)To study the relationship between the academic leadership of administrators and the effectiveness of teachers' work in the Nakhon Si Thammarat Primary Educational Service Area Office 3. 4) To study the variables predicting academic leadership of administrators that affect effectiveness teachers' work in the Nakhon Si Thammarat Primary Educational Service Area Office 3. The population consists of 1,513 teachers in the Nakhon Si Thammarat Primary Educational Service Area Office 3. The sample size determination is 310 by using Krejcie and Morgan Table. The research tool is the questionnaires. The statistical analysis methods are Frequency, Percentage, Mean, Standard Deviation, Pearson's product moment correlation coefficient and Stepwise multiple regression analysis. The research found that 1) The academic leadership level of the executives management in the Nakhon Si Thammarat Primary Educational Service Area Office 3 is overall at the highest level. 2) The effectiveness level of teachers' work in the Nakhon Si Thammarat Primary Educational Service Area Office 3, by overall are at the highest level. 3) The relationship between the academic leadership level of administrators and the effectiveness of teachers work in the Nakhon Si Thammarat Primary Educational Service Area Office 3, by overall are in the positive relationship at a high level of significance at the .001 level statistically. 4) The academic leadership of administrators used to predict effectiveness teachers' work in the Nakhon Si Thammarat Primary Educational Service Area Office 3, in the aspect of setting vision, goals, and missions and the aspect of supervising and following up on teaching and learning. Accounting for 57.0 %, the prediction equation can be written in raw score form as follows γ ̂ = 1.542 + 0.425(X1) + 0.253(X5). The prediction equation in standard score form is as follows Z ̂ = 0.512(X1) + 0.306(X5).
