Abstract:
This project aims to invite the wearers participated in self-realization regarding the true value of objects and their contexts psychologically. The significant idea is focused on hope, imagination and anticipation of buying lottery tickets. The act of buying and possessing tickets affects users mentally, fulfilling an economical misfortune in one's self with a moment of hope, imagination and anticipation. The conceptual idea of lottery ticket has been transformed from a piece of paper into a possibility of becoming a much higher economical value. Keywords of design are "hope, imagination and anticipation". These keywords have been represented through lottery tickets of both used and new. The lottery tickets hold a significant meaning for value and time and have been undertaken through the process of piling up, and fording into shapes and farms. These aquons expectation which performed by the users themselves. Folded forms and their placements as jewelry on different parts of the body with specific gestures reflect users' hope, imagination and anticipation. The goal of this project is to realize the veracity of gambling. During the 15 days of expectations toward the lottery announcement, these lottery papers hold distinct value, but after the prize announcement, winning or not, the lottery tickets are just pieces of papers, which are the important materials of this project metaphorically. By using jewelry as a means to communicate, I convince that users' ideas of gambling will be provoked and analyzed through their self-realizations of the dark side of lottery as gambling.
