Abstract:
This quasi-experimental study aimed to (1) examine the level of Emotional Well-being among hospital employees, and (2) investigate the effect of the use of the EWItp toolset on their emotional well-being. The first sample group consisted of285 support staff from hospital A and B. The second sample group comprised 12 participants who scored below the 25th percentile in Emotional Well-being and voluntarily participated in the intervention. The research instruments included an Emotional Well-being questionnaire with a reliability score of 0.884 and the EWItp toolset for Emotional Well-being development incorporated a diverse range of systematically interconnected activities. It included emotion reflection cards and board games designed to help users explore their emotions, thoughts, and self-regulation skills across various situations. The toolset received an appropriateness rating of 4.58 for practical application. Data were analyzed using frequency analysis, percentage calculations, mean and standard deviation assessments, and a Paired Sample t-test.The research findings revealed that the overall level of Emotional Well-being among the employees was high X̄= 4.00, SD = 0.60). When comparing the pre-test and post-test results of using the EWItp toolset, it was found that the level of Emotional Well-being after the experiment (X̄= 4.07, SD = 0.094) was significantly higher than before the experiment (X̄= 2.47, SD = 0.094) with statistical significance at the 0.01 level. This indicates that the EWItp toolset is effective in enhancing Emotional Well-being
