Abstract:
This research aims to develop and implement an online program to empower teachers knowledge in students collaborative skills development using Research and Development (R&D) methodology. It is based on the concept of Develop teachers learning, and implement the outcomes into student development. It consists of two projects as follows: 1) Collaborative skills learning for the teacher development project, and 2) Implementing teachers collaborative skills learning outcomes with a student project. The first project includes a set of six-manual for teacher development, including definition, importance, characteristics, development approaches, development steps, and evaluation of collaborative skills manuals. The second project comes with the workshop manual for implementing the teachers learning outcomes in student development. The online program was examined in a Pariyattidhamma School selected as a research site. The findings reveal that after completing the first teacher development project, the teachers had learning outcomes according to the standard of 90/90. In addition, learning outcomes after the development project were statistically significantly higher than attending the project. Moreover, after the second project, the students collaborative skills assessment results were statistically significantly higher than before. Therefore, the online program produced in this study is an educational innovation that is effective and should be beneficial for other Pariyattidhamma schools learning.
