An Online Program for Empowering Students Problem-Solving Skills based on Theoretical Principles and Buddhist Teachings in Private Schools under the Office of the Private Education Commission
Abstract:
This research aims to research and develop online programs to empower students problem-solving skills. Theoretical principles and Buddhist doctrine In private schools, in 3 areas, 1) To develop an online programs based on the concept of Knowledge + Action = Power, 2) To assess the effectiveness of the online program based on the results of two phases of field trial research and, and 3) To do lesson learned to be informed of suggestions for improving the online program which consisted of 2 projects as follow; Project to develop teachers knowledge with 3 sets of handbooks and the project to develop students knowledge with 1 set of handbooks. There were 16 co-researchers and 197 students in Sudarat Witthayakhom School as participants. A manual for the field trial project has been prepared To improve in 2 phases, there is a teacher's learning outcome test and problem solving skills assessment form The results of the research found that A manual for the project in accordance with the 90/90 standard as follows: (1) In the first 90 cases, it was found that the average score from the learning outcome test after completing the program of the experimental group was 95.40 percent The content presentation in each project manual was effective that could be used Develop teachers to achieve learning according to the specified criteria (2) In the case of the last 90 characters, it was found that 25.00 percent of the experimental group took the test in the learning outcome test that passed all criteria for learning objectives indicating that the project manual There are still bugs that should be found to be improved. This may be due to the use of vague idioms. or a form of presentation of content that is not motivational and the results of the problem-solving skills assessment of students who were in the experimental group after the teachers completed the knowledge development (Post-test) found that the mean was 71.21. Pre-test results with an average of 20.40 It was found that the students who were in the sample group in the experiment had a statistically significantly higher score from the post-test at the .05 level than before.
