Abstract:
The purpose of this research is to study the satisfaction levels of vocational students with English learning media through the use of the EchoVE application at a technical college in Chachoengsao province. The participants are 240 students based on the purposive sampling technique. Focus group interviews and questionnaires were designed in accordance with the satisfaction framework, adapted from the relevant research, in which the perception of satisfaction can be categorized into two factors: (1) the perceived factor affecting learning satisfaction through the EchoVE application, consisting of 4 aspects: Design, Perceived Ease of Use, Perceived Hurdles in Use, and Perceived Value, and (2) the satisfaction factor of using applications consisting of 4 aspects: Satisfaction of Learning through the Applications, Satisfaction of Listening, Satisfaction of Speaking, and Satisfaction with Teaching and Learning Management. The data were analyzed through Percentage, Mean, Standard Deviation, and Content Analysis. If was found that the students perceived two factors that influenced their satisfaction in using the EchoVE English application. First, the perceived factor that influenced the satisfaction of learning through the EchoVE applications included the design aspects of the apps with appropriate colour and font size. The presentations of the English lessons were exciting and interesting. Second, in assessing the satisfaction factors of using the EchoVE application, it was found that the highest satisfaction levels were associated with the aspect of teaching and learning, and that the activity of learning English through the EchoVE application is interesting. The convenience of using or practicing English language skills for students, as well as the duration of the teaching, is appropriate with the EchoVE application. It helps create more interest in listening through English media in everyday life and helps solve listening and reading problems for students so they can improve their vocabulary and develop the ability to have them conveyed in different situations.
