Buddhism, 2) To study the Kamma changing of Phradhammasinghaburacharn (Charan
Thitadhammo), and 3) To analyze the Kamma changing of Phradhammasinghabura
charn (Charan Thitadhammo). The data of this qualitative research were collected
from the Tipitaka, Commentaries, related research papers and interviews with experts
in Buddhism and meditation practitioners under meditation training of Phradham
masinghaburacharn (Charan Thitadhammo).
The research results were found that
1.Kamma in Buddhism is the natural law, meaning an action that consists of
intention or volition to do. The three causes of unwholesome kamma are greed,
hatred and delusion, and three causes of wholesome kamma are non-greed, nonhatred and non-delusion. Kamma can be classified firstly by its manners of action;
bodily action, verbal action and mental action, secondly by the quality of kamma;
wholesome action and unwholesome action, thirdly by the behaviors of the kamma
doers consisting of the ten wholesome actions and the ten unwholesome actions,
fourthly by the time of action consisting of old kamma and new kamma. Lastly, the
kamma is classified by 4 characteristics; black kamma resulting in black result, white
kamma resulting in white result, both black and white kamma resulting in both black
and white result, and neither black nor white kamma resulting in neither black nor
white result.
2. In the Kamma changing, Phradhamma singhaburacharn (Charan Thitadhammo)
taught his disciples to try solving problems by themselves through Vipassana
ซ
Meditation practice (Satipatthana 4), determination for forgiveness and defunct
kamma, cultivation of loving-kindness, and chanting.
3. In the Kammic process and Kamma changing, Phradhammasinghaburacharn
(Charan Thitadhammo) taught his disciples to accelerate good deeds in order to
intervene and relieve bad deeds through Vipassana Meditation practice (Satipatthana
4), determination for forgiveness and defunct kamma, cultivation of loving-kindness,
and chanting. The values of kamma changing of Phradhamma singhaburacharn
(Charan Thitadhammo) can be classified into four levels. Firstly, mental level
includes consciousness, ability to control body and mind, happiness and gladness.
These are caused by performing Vipassana meditation according to four foundations
of mind, determination for forgiveness and defunct kamma, cultivation of lovingkindness, and chanting. Secondly, personality level includes an elegant personality
with good characters because of mindfulness. Thirdly, lifestyle level includes
knowing how to forgive, being careful, making the smooth way of life, solving the
problems effectively and gaining love from celestial beings and humans. Finally,
social level includes beliefs in society, generosity of society, compassion with help
and support in society. These will result in sustainable self-happiness, peaceful and
civilized society.
