Abstract:
This research investigated the factors influencing the satisfaction of Thai tourists with Kaeng Krachan National Park in Phetchaburi Province. The objectives of the study were: 1) to explore the satisfaction of Thai tourists with Kaeng Krachan National Park; and 2) to propose development guidelines for enhancing tourist satisfaction with the park. This qualitative study employed in-depth interviews with semi-structured interviews, using a purposive sampling to select of 30 Thai tourists who visited Kaeng Krachan National Park. The research findings indicated that marketing-mix factors significantly impacted the satisfaction of Thai tourists visiting Kaeng Krachan National Park in Phetchaburi province. When examined in detail, tourists expressed satisfaction with product quality, physical attributes, pricing, location, marketing promotions, and hospitality of the staff, including aspects of care and convenience for tourists, as well as process, rerpectively. The development guidelines suggested for Kaeng Krachan National Park to enleance tourist satisfaction include the need for continuous tourist attraction development and improvement in various service areas for higher standards. This, in turn, is expected to attract more tourists and enhance the overall satisfaction.
