The Effects of Learning Management by KWL-Plus Technique with Infographics on Reading Ability and Attitude toward Learning in Thai Subject of Mathayomsuksa 4 Students
Abstract:
The purposes of this research were to 1) compare the reading ability of Mathayomsuksa 4 students before and after learning by KWL-Plus technique with infographics, 2) compare the reading ability of Mathayomsuksa 4 students after learning by KWL-Plus technique with infographics and the criteria 80 % of full score, and 3) study the attitude towards learning in Thai subject of Mathayomsuksa 4 students after learning by KWL-Plus technique with infographics. The samples were 36 Mathayomsuksa 4 students of Thapkrit Phattana School obtained by multi-stage random sampling. The instruments in this research were 1) the 6 lesson plans concerning the KWL-Plus technique with infographics with the most appropriate (X̅ = 4.93, S.D. = 0.30) 2) the 30 items of reading ability assessment form with the validity between 0.67-1.00, the difficulty between 0.35-0.68, the discrimination between 0.29-0.53, and the reliability at 0.71 and 3) the assessment form of attitudes toward learning in Thai subject with the validity between 0.67-1.00, the discrimination between 0.31-0.78, and the reliability at 0.85. The data were analyzed by using mean, standard deviation, t-test for dependent sample and t-test for one sample.
