Abstract:
This paper introduces a study using the uniform
geometrical theory of diffraction (UTD) method to analyze
electromagnetic (EM) waves radiated from a slot array antenna
positioned on a coated curved surface. The UTD, as detailed in
[1], is formulated using the exact Green's function for a coated
cylinder problem. This work investigates a slot array antenna
with uniform alignment using the UTD radiation solution.
Preliminary numerical results for the radiation pattern are
presented, showing good agreement between the proposed
solution and commercial EM software.
